PAYDAY Motors at 92 & Combee: DON'T BOTHER! They will SAY anything, PROMISE anything to get your money. Deal-breaker to fix tailgate on the truck I bought from them NEVER happened--one excuse after another. Have it in WRITING. I wasted more TIME & GAS than I really care to admit; they even held my tag hostage! Took me 2 1/2 months to get it! "We don't have time to call all of our customers." Yeah, they actually told me that! This father & son (Larry & Larry) think it's a hoot to treat their customers with disrespect--but only AFTER they've gotten their money! Stacey isn't any better (how hard up does SHE have to be to enjoy her job there, let alone work there?). I guess if that's the only place you can get a job, everyone has to put food on the table...but I digress.
They didn't like it when I told them that I WAS NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER after waiting for 3 HOURS for them to fix my tailgate, only to have them tell me they had the wrong part (oh yeah, great mechanic they have--takes him that long to figure out the tailgate handle is the wrong part?). No, I don't believe the mechanic is that STUPID, I believe that was a juvenile game this POS, podunk crap dealer (oops, I mean car dealer) plays. Do you know what they did when I picketed the place? They gathered up my GARBAGE (soda bottle, snack, etc) from the day before when I was there for THREE HOURS and bagged it up, stuck a note on it ("Miss Lilly, you forgot your garbage."), and snuck over to my vehicle & left it on my hood while I was picketting. Shows how clean the place is too, when they don't empty their garbage! I wouldn't recommend the restroom...
Anyway, that's my story. I think (and this is the legal disclaimer and solely the author's opinion) that they are shysters & they suck! They have no idea of how to earn repeat customers. My truck is crap and I will NEVER do business with them again. Tell everyone you know that even the tag agency has had numerous complaints on the way they do business (holding tags hostage on a regular basis, maybe?).
FRIENDS DONT LET FRIENDS BUY FROM PAYDAY!

I had an awful experience with Lakeland Suzuki. Awful customer service, nothing ran smoothly in there. Happy to hear at least there are a few good dealerships

Last year I was looking for a used truck or SUV online. I found a used ford explorer at <a href="www.lakelanddodge.com" rel="nofollow">Lakeland Chrysler Dodge</a> and I found a <a href="http://www.floridacarsonline.com/search/keyword/colorado/1" rel="nofollow">Used Chevy Colorado</a> at Regal. I printed them both out and took a ride.
I liked the Explorer better so I went to Chrysler first. It was about 3:00PM and I pulled in to the lot and found the explorer. I got out to "kick the tires" and not a soul came out. I was there for at least 10 minutes. Can you believe that? I had $15,000 cash to spend! It would of been an easy sale.
Well, because I am a stubborn Irishman I took off and went to <a href="www.regallakeland.com" rel="nofollow">Regal</a>. I found the Colorado, met a salesperson named Calvin (nice guy) and went for a test drive. I told him I would go home and think about it and he respected my wishes. Later on that evening I bought it. Great Experience! I even got a happy birthday letter from him last May!
