Hello Lakeland!

Welcome visitors from Lakeland Florida. The purpose of this blog is to share with each other some good restaurants and other places to go in Lakeland. The only restaurant I could tolerate closed down a while ago. I forget the name of it but it was a steak House of of 98 near I-4. Does anyone else have some good restaurant ideas?

    I know the steak house you are referring to, it’s called LoneStar Steakhouse & Saloon! They had incredible food…everything from appitizers to dessert was fabulous! I think the only one open around here is in Orlando.

    ONE OF THE BEST STEAKHOUSE IN TOWN IS THE TEXAS CATTLE CO. CHECK IT OUT. YOU SHOULD BE PLEASED

    Chef T’s Garden Grille, it is off of Gary road in Lakeland 33801. It is an old house renovated into a restaraunt. The food is excellant. I think they have a website, you should check out the menu.

    Cafe Roti on Parkview, Mario’s on Edgewood, Louie Mack’s on S Florida, Antiquarian on Bay St, Harry’s @ Kentucky & Main St, Terrace Hotel Grill on Main St, Brima’s on Flightline Dr. These are some of our favorites in town.

    aren’t you talking about The Roadhouse Grill… i agree — it was great food and a great price. My favourite in Lakeland has to be BD’s Mongolian Grill.

    Louie Mack’s Steakhouse was excellent the other day. Had been hit or miss in the past, but this was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time..heard they are under new management and have a new chef. Food was fabulous! We’ll definitely be going back!

    Oh…forgot to mention that we heard the new chef at Louie Mack’s was the chef at Mario’s. What a loss for Mario’s! The food had gotten really good there in the last year or so when he was there. Looking forward to seeing what he does at Louie Mack’s!

    The Athenian restaurant off of Ariana in Lakeland has great food a really low prices. The owner serves fresh fish from time to time when it’s available. Everything is made fresh. It’s really a hidden gem. Check it out.

    I hate that Brima’s has closed. Does anyone know where the chef or Matty (Manager) have gone?
