I’ve been searching for good Chinese Food here in Lakeland for over 2 years now. For some reason it’s different

Chicken Fingers, Pork Strips, Spare Ribs & Pork Fried Rice

down here. Last year I found a place that served “New York Style” Chinese Food. I was excited so I ordered a Pu Pu Platter for two and a large order of Pork Fried Rice. Before ordering, I asked the woman if the Fried Rice was brown, she said yes. Well, I think she was color blind because it was yellow. All I want is some authentic Boston Chinese Food with Brown Pork Fried Rice. Does anyone know of a place in Lakeland (or even somewhere close by) that I can find this?

Since relocated from New England a few years ago, I have found it virtually impossible to find an “out-of-this-world” steak and cheese sandwich.  It seems every restaurant, sandwich shop and deli uses roast beef for their steak and cheese.  Is there anywhere in Lakeland to get a steak and cheese sandwich made with shaved steak and not roast beef?

Welcome visitors from Lakeland Florida. The purpose of this blog is to share with each other some good restaurants and other places to go in Lakeland. The only restaurant I could tolerate closed down a while ago. I forget the name of it but it was a steak House of of 98 near I-4. Does anyone else have some good restaurant ideas?
